Ranchi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has called for deputation applications from Jharkhand Police officers holding the ranks of Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
In a letter addressed to the state’s Chief Secretary and Director General of Police (DGP), the agency stated that eight vacancies are to be filled on deputation, with August 12 as the deadline for nominations.
The NIA clarified that once submitted, applications cannot be withdrawn. Applicants are required to attach duly attested copies of their Annual Performance Reports (APRs) for the years 2020–21 to 2024–25. If an APR is missing for any period, a certificate explaining the reason must be provided.
Furthermore, officers must disclose details of any major or minor disciplinary actions taken against them in the past ten years.
