National Unity Day celebrated in CCL

Ranchi:  On the occasion of National Unity Day, tribute was paid to Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at CCL. On this occasion, Director Technical Operations Ram Babu Prasad, Director Personnel Harsh Nath Mishra, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, Heads of Departments, General Managers of all departments and other personnel paid floral tributes to him.

Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar addressed everyone present at the event. Director Technical Communication administered oath to everyone to maintain the unity, integrity and security of the nation. On the special occasion, a street play on the theme of corruption free society was also presented. 

12 employees are retiring from various departments at CCL Headquarters – Rashmi Dayal, General Manager, Dr. Aruna Hembrom, Chief Medical Officer, Central Hospital, Gandhinagar; Dr. Anand Kumar, Chief Medical Officer, Central Hospital, Gandhinagar; Dr. Ragini Srivastava, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Central Hospital, Gandhinagar; Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, Chief Manager Bhavesh Kumar Rathore, Chief Manager Amarendra Kumar, Chief Manager, Shri Praveer Kumar Soren, Chief Manager (Geology), Mohd. Khatir Khan, Chief Cashier Magan Munda, Senior Ward Boy, Central Hospital, Gandhinagar Munari Ram, Senior Dumper Operator and Kailash Chandra Naik, Safai Karmachari-III were given a fond farewell by the CCL family by organizing a “Honour Ceremony”.

On this occasion, Director Technical Operations Ram Babu Prasad and Director Personnel Harsh Nath Mishra were present. In the month of October, 97 employees retired from the entire CCL including the headquarters. On this occasion, a short film and video clip on the work experiences of retired personnel was screened.

In this video, the employees shared the memorable moments of their entire service period. Expressing their good wishes towards the company, the retired employees said that the company has been an integral part of our lives throughout our service period. He thanked everyone and wished for the continued development of the company.

Director Technical Communication Ram Babu Prasad, the main attraction of the function, while welcoming the retired personnel, said that all of you are successfully completing one journey and starting another. The meaningful efforts of all of you in taking the company to new heights are exemplary. Prasad wished all the retiring employees all the best for the second phase of their lives. 

On the special occasion, Director Personnel Harsh Nath Mishra said that everyone’s contribution in the success of the company is commendable. Wishing a healthy life to the retiring employees, he said that due to your hard work, dedication and commitment, the company is progressing day by day. The retiring employees were honoured with shawls, quinces and mementos.

On this occasion, General Managers, Heads of Departments of various departments of CCL Headquarters and family members of retired employees were present. The stage was conducted and the vote of thanks was given by Rekha Pandey, Head of the Department (Welfare). The Welfare Department and other related departments had a special contribution in making the program successful.
