Ranchi: Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary was celebrated as National Unity Day at Jharkhand Police Headquarters on Tuesday.
On this occasion, the day was celebrated with enthusiasm by the DGP by administering oath to the police officers and policemen at the police headquarters.
In order to strengthen the feeling of unity, integrity and security, there has been a tradition of celebrating this day through March past, oath taking and other ways by the state police and other uniformed forces.
Apart from DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, Senior police officers and personnel including ADG Murari Lal Meena, Sanjay Anand Rao Lathkar, Priya Dubey, IG Manoj Kaushik, Amol Vinukant Homkar, Prabhat Kumar, DIG Anneshu Vijaya Lakshmi, Shams Tabrez, and Michael S Raj participated in the program.
