Nation will avenge killing of its bravehearts says Raghubar after paying tributes to Bijay Soreng

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said martyrdom of Bijay Soreng will not go in vain as the nation would avenge his killing. He said that the cowardly act of the terrorists and the proxy war of Pakistan will not last long.

Mr Das said that on three occasions Pakistan has tasted defeat and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it very clear that culprits will not be spared. “We have full faith in our army and once again Pakistan would be defeated,” he said while paying tributes to martyr Bijay Soreng whose mortal remains were brought by a special plane to Ranchi. He said that the entire country is with the martyrs of Pulwama and he and his cabinet colleagues have donated their one month salary to the kin of the martyrs of Pulwama.

Mr Das said that the state government will give a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family members of Bijay Soreng apart from a government job and will also look after the education of his children. Later the body of the martyr was sent to Gumla where his last rites would be formed in his ancestral village. Those present on the occasion also included Governor Draupadi Murmu Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Dinesh Oraon Cabinet Minister CP Singh, many MLAs, DGP DK Pandey, a large number of army personnel and civilians.
