Mrunal Thakur likely to feature in a special song in Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’?

Hyderabad — Buzz in the film industry suggests that Mrunal Thakur may be part of a special song in director Buchi Babu Sana’s much-anticipated rural action drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan in the lead.

There are mixed reports about the song—while some claim it could feature a couple of other leading actresses alongside Mrunal, others say she might be the sole performer. However, no official confirmation has been made so far regarding her involvement.

Peddi has been generating strong excitement ever since its announcement and continues to stay in the spotlight. Recently, the film grabbed attention when Indian cricketer Tilak Varma visited the sets.

Sharing a glimpse of the visit on social media, Buchi Babu Sana revealed that Tilak Varma got a sneak peek into the film’s sports sequences and was highly impressed. Sources say the cricketer was particularly struck by both the intense action and the emotional depth of the scenes.

During the visit, Ram Charan also gifted Tilak Varma a bat from the film, signed by him.

The team is currently wrapping up the final schedule while simultaneously progressing with post-production work.

The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside a strong supporting cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles.

On the technical front, cinematography is handled by R Rathnavelu, editing by Navin Nooli, and production design by Avinash Kolla, promising a visually rich cinematic experience.
