Mouni Roy Goes Dramatic in Black for a ‘Special Night’ at Cannes 2025

Mumbai – Actress Mouni Roy captivated onlookers with her glamorous appearance at the ongoing 78th Cannes Film Festival, turning heads in a stunning black ensemble.

Marking her second appearance at Cannes, Mouni proudly represented India and the Indian film industry, wearing a breathtaking Caroline Couture outfit complemented by dazzling Chopard jewelry.

She captioned a post from the night:
“A special night in Cannes with @chopard @chopardbycaroline #carolinescouture x Glam by @diorbeauty.”

On the film front, Mouni is set to star in David Dhawan’s upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. On May 16, she shared her excitement about the project, calling the opportunity a dream come true.

“If any of you understand magic and the feeling of dreams coming true, this is it. Working with David sir has always been a lifelong dream. His films are my version of FRIENDS. Both he and Rohit sir are the pillars behind this film. It’s been the best experience ever,” she wrote.

Speaking about her co-star Varun Dhawan, Mouni added:
“Varunaaaaa @varundvn, you’re the most sincere, hardworking, loving, and handsome superstar I’ve worked with. You’re so wonderful as a person that it overshadows even your incredible talent as an actor and dancer—and to me, that’s a good thing.”

She also expressed gratitude toward fellow actress Pooja Hegde:
