Ranchi: The MET department has predicted lightning coupled with light to medium range of rainfall in many areas of the state till August 7.
As per the weather department in the North-Western regions which included Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga thundering and lightning have been predicted. The MET has predicted that Monsoon would remain weak in the state till August 12.
On Monday at one or two places lightning would fall while on Tuesday in northern and central areas of the state heavy to very heavy rainfall might take place at one or two places. Between August 5-7 at some places in the state incidents of lightning or thundering might take place and at one or two isolated places heavy rainfall might take place.
The weatherman has said that Ranchi would remain under cloud cover till August 7 during which on one or two occasions thundering and medium rainfall will take place. During the period between August 2 to August 7, the maximum temperature would remain around 32 degrees while minimum would be around 24 degrees.
