Monsoon Session of Jharkhand Assembly from September 3 to 9

Ranchi: The Monsoon session of Jharkhand Assembly will be held from September 3 to September 9.

A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the project building here.

Briefing the press after the meeting cabinet secretary Vandana Dadel said that a total of 27 proposals were passed in the cabinet meeting.

The cabinet has approved amendment in Rule-7(1) and 7(7) of the Jharkhand Secretariat Clerical Service Rules, 2010 constituted by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language, Jharkhand, Ranchi, vide notification number-4447, dated July 26, 2010.  Under this, it will be mandatory to pass 10th, 12th / Intermediate from recognized educational institutions of Jharkhand.  In this, this rule will be relaxed in the reservation policy of Jharkhand state and in compassionate appointment.  The minimum qualification for the appointment of lower class clerk will be graduation but the State Government may reduce the minimum qualification in respect of 15 posts of Lower Division Clerk to be filled from Group “D” on the basis of limited departmental/competitive examination to be held from time to time.

Jharkhand State Clerk / Clerk cum Typist / Typist / Other Clerical Service Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Service Conditions) (Second Amendment) Rules-202″ was approved by the cabinet.

Approval was given to constitute “Jharkhand State Collectorate Clerical Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Conditions of Service) (Second Amendment) Rules-202” while Approval has been given to amend the notification no. 13755, dated 15 December 2012, issued under Rule-15 of Jharkhand Secretariat Clerical Service Cadre Rules, 2010 for the simplification of departmental examination.

In addition to retired teachers, UGC NET Pass and PhD holders have also been included to take the services of bell based teachers in postgraduate departments of universities and affiliated colleges.

For appointment to the post of Member of Jharkhand Public Service Commission the names of Ajita Bhattacharya, Associate Professor, Lala Laxmi Narayan Degree College, Sirsa, Allahabad, Dr Anima Hansda, Assistant Professor, Santali, Gossner College, Ranchi, University Ranchi and Dr Jamal Ahmed, Head of Department Urdu Saint Colombus College, Hazaribagh have been cleared.

For speedy hearing and execution of pending cases under the Rape and POCSO Act, 22 Fastrack Special Courts, temporarily constituted for one year (embodied in 2019-20 and 2020-21) at the level of District and Additional Sessions Judge in the state of Jharkhand have been given extension of one year.

Approval was given to create one post of Under Secretary for the Assistant Cadre of Raj Bhavan/Governor’s Secretariat, Jharkhand, Ranchi.

In exercise of the powers conferred in sub-section (i) of section 12 of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act, 2008 (Jharkhand Act 16, 2008), the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Examination (Intermediate/10+2 Level) Conduct Rules, 2015 (as  Revised, 2016) has been approved for amendment.

Further approval was given to constitute Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Examination (Graduate Level Technical/Special Qualification Posts) Conduct (Amendment) Rules, 2021. Approval was also given to constitute Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Examination (Matriculation/10th Level) Conduct (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

Further the cabinet also gave its nod to various road construction, widening and expansion projects across different districts of the state.
