Ranchi: Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam’s car met with an accident. The minister was present in the car when the accident happened. The accident took place on Thursday night around 7.30 pm. The accident took place near Goshal Bridge on Four lane road in the Katras police station area. During this accident, the minister was present in the vehicle, he suffered minor injuries, while an ASI and a constable are admitted to a private hospital in Katras.
A policeman in the minister’s convoy told that the escorting vehicle was behind the minister’s vehicle. Suddenly the driver of the minister’s vehicle applied brakes due to the accumulation of water on the Goshala Bridge. The escort car coming from behind hit the minister’s car. The driver could not control himself due to the sudden braking of the vehicle in front. Both vehicles have been damaged in the accident. Minister Alamgir Alam suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Among the injured, ASI Manoj Kumar, and Havaldar Nirmal Lakra are admitted to Nichitpur Hospital. Both are said to be out of danger. A constable Sanjay Murmu has also suffered minor injuries. After the incident, Minister Alamgir Alam came to Sonardih OP for some time. He informed the police station about the whole matter in the police station. The minister’s vehicle has been damaged.
