Ranchi: The Meteorological Center has warned of rain with thunderstorms in many districts of Jharkhand going forward for the course of the next few days. Along with this, the possibility of thunderstorms has also been expressed. During this, the wind speed is expected to move at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.
The department has issued an orange and yellow alert regarding this. A yellow alert has been issued in many districts regarding rain with thunderstorms. Apart from Gumla, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms in some parts of Ramgarh, Deoghar, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahibganj, Godda and Dumka districts.
On May 25 and 26 there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at isolated places over the eastern and adjoining central parts of the state. At the same time, on May 27, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the eastern parts of the state. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the eastern and adjoining central parts of the state on May 28. Along with this, the Meteorological Center has forecast light to moderate rain at isolated places in the state on May 29 and 30.
The Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert on as per which there is a possibility of strong wind/thunderstorm accompanied with thunder/thundershowers at isolated places in the state. During this, strong wind will blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. During this, there is a possibility of hailstorms at one or two places in the northeastern and adjoining northern parts of the state. At the same time, on May 25 and 26, strong wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph with thunder/ thundershowers is likely at isolated places in the eastern and adjoining central parts of the state.
The meaning of a Yellow Alert is to alert people about the danger. Under this, there is a sign of people being alert about the bad weather. While under the Orange Alert the Meteorological Department issues an alert in view of the serious situation. With the issuance of this alert, the full possibility of danger is expressed.
