Ranchi: A meeting of the District Level Peace Committee was organized under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan Ranchi regarding Bakri Eid and the upcoming Shravan Month. In the meeting Senior Superintendent of Police Surendra Jha, Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar Deepak Dubey, Rural SP Naushad Aalam concerned police officers, circle officers and members of various peace committees were present. It was said in the meeting to celebrate Bakri Eid in a cordial atmosphere.
In the meeting, first of all, the members of the peace committee gave their views in turn regarding better arrangements in Bakrid and Sawan. Taking care of cleanliness, security and the sentiments of the people of other sects, everyone talked about celebrating the festival with communal harmony. The Deputy Commissioner said that better arrangements would be made during the festival.
During the meeting, he said that the way the members of the peace committee had performed their responsibilities in the past this time also everyone’s role is important. This time also the members of the peace committee will be given responsibility in their respective areas the Deputy Commissioner said adding that the administration is fully prepared to maintain law and order.
Addressing the meeting the DC that it is also necessary to follow the Corona guidelines during festivals. It is the responsibility of all of us to keep people safe during Bakri Eid and Shravan. He appealed to the residents of Ranchi to follow the Corona guidelines. Senior Superintendent of Police, Surendra Jha said that the police is keeping a close watch on sensitive places during the festival. All the preparations are being done from the point of view of security.
CCTV will be monitored. Law and order will not be allowed to deteriorate under any circumstances and prompt action will be taken against those who disturb the atmosphere, he said.
