Ranchi: The meeting of the alliance party has started at the CM residence. The current political situation is being discussed in the meeting.
Stephen Marandi, Joba Manjhi, Deepak Birua, Baby Devi, Mithilesh Thakur, Bhushan Bada, Sameer Mohanty, Rajesh Kachhap, Anup Singh, Sarfaraz Ahmed, who had resigned from Gande’s membership, have also reached the CM residence to attend the meeting. Whereas JMM MLAs Lobin Hembram and Chamra Linda did not reach the meeting. Some MLAs continue to arrive.
According to Sources, 37 MLAs have reached the meeting so far. All Congress MLAs are present in the meeting of the ruling party. Two women MLAs Deepika Pandey and Purnima Neeraj Singh are absent. Deepika Pandey’s father has passed away, while Purnima Neeraj Singh is out of station. Both have also given this information in writing.
Congress MLA Amba Prasad said, anything can happen in the meeting. On the question of changing the face of the government, she has hinted at some ‘big changes’. Before this, a meeting of the Congress Party was held at Congress Bhawan in Ranchi.
In this meeting, Congress in-charge of Jharkhand Ghulam Ahmed Mir talked with all the MLAs. This meeting started at around 12 o’clock, which continued till around 2.30 o’clock. The political crisis of Jharkhand was also discussed.
After the meeting with Congress MLAs, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, State President Rajesh Thakur and Minister Alamgir Alam while giving information to the media said that the expansion of the organization has been discussed.
Apart from this, discussions were held on how to strengthen the party. Regarding the ongoing turmoil and various activities in the government, he said that there is no problem anywhere. Party MLAs will attend the alliance party meeting in the evening. Whatever is decided from there will be universally accepted.
Ahmed Mir said that I am in the city itself, I will get the information after the meeting, after which we will decide together. However, many MLAs said that Congress MLAs are with Hemant Soren. Jamtara MLA Irfan Ansari, who came out of the meeting, said that all the MLAs were gathered here. We have strengthened the organization and have to do better where we are weak. All these things have been discussed.
While answering the question on the current political situation, he said that all of us MLAs are one and we will attend the alliance party meeting.
