Maoists killed father-son in Palamu branding them as TPC supporters

Daltonganj, Apr 18: Ultras of the proscribed CPI (Maoists) shot dead a
father and his son at Kulhia village located under Harihargunj Police
Station area of the Palamu district branding them as supporters of the
rival outfit named Tritya Prastuti Committee (TPC).
The deceased have been identified as Shinnath Yadav (50) and his 22
year old son Guddu Yadav. The incident spot is located on the
bordering areas of Bihar and Jharkhand.
Upon receiving the information Palamu SP Inderjeet Mahtha and
Chattarpur SDPO Sanjay Kumar today visited the spot. The SP said that
the maoist squad led by commander Nitesh Ji had executed the incident.
Both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The SP said that the
wife of the deceased and his another son would be provided government
jobs and compensation for those killed in naxl violence would be also
provided to them.
The SP said that  said that skill development of 35 youth of the
village would be done so that they are able to get jobs and later also
chaired a meeting with the villagers and assured them of full police
support.
Last night a group 25-230 Maoists entered into the village and
forcibly took out the duo from their home and shot them dead branding
them as TPC supporters. The deceased Vikas Yadav was an engineering
student. People who resisted their move were badly beaten up by the
ultras. A person who has sustained serious injuries has been referred
to Patna.
