Ranchi: In a major administrative reshuffle amid the battle against Coronavirus was executed by the Jharkhand government as it transferred and posted 35 IPS officers in the state.
A notification in this regard has been issued by the Home Prison and Disaster Management Department. Among the 35 officers who have been moved around included few DIG ranks officials and Senior Superintendent of Police of Dhanbad and Jamshedpur.
According to the notification Akhilesh Kumar who was serving as DIG in the special branch had been appointed as the new DIG of Ranchi zone and has been given the additional charge of DIG Palamu. While DIG Ranchi Amol V Homkar has been transferred as DIG Hazaribagh.
Rajkumar Lakra DIG Dumka has been transferred as DIG Home Guard and Fire Services while Kuldeep Dwivedi DIG Kolhan has been transferred as DIG Jharkhand Jaguar (STF). Pankaj Kamboj DIG Hazaribagh has been transferred as DIG ACB Ranchi.
Further SSP Jamshedpur Anup Birthare has been transferred as Commandant JAP-9 Sahebganj. On the other hand, SSP Dhanbad Kishore Kaushal has been transferred as SP JAPTC Padma and has been also given the additional charge of SP JPA Padma.
Further, the state government has also transferred the SPs of Hazaribagh, Koderma, Godda, Saraikela Kharsawan, Garhwa, Lohardaga and Sahebganj.
