Ranchi: Former Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni turned 39 on Tuesday.
It was on this day in the year 1981 Mahendra Singh Dhoni was born in Ranchi which was than part of unified Bihar. Wife of Dhoni Sakshi Singh Rawat wished her husband on Instagram.
“Marking the date you were born, another year older, greyed a bit more, become smarter and sweeter. You are a man who will not be moved by all the sweet wishes and gifts. Let’s celebrate another year of your life by cutting a cake and blowing the candles! Happy Birthday, Husband!!,” she wrote on Instagram.
As per information received players like Hardik Pandaya, Krunal Pandaya and his wife Pankhudi Sharma and Sagar Mangolkar would be reaching Ranchi by flight and would go to Dhoni’s house to celebrate his birthday.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren had also extended his best wishes to the former Team India captain. On Twitter he wrote that Mahendra Singh Dhoni has taken Indian Cricket to new heights and prayed to the almighty to give him long live, good health and hoped that he would keep making the nation proud.
