Ranchi: The Ranchi Mahanagar Congress Committee and Ranchi District Rural Congress Committee organised Bharat Jodo Yatra in the capital which was attended by senior leaders of the party. Bharat Jodo Yatra was started by garlanding the martyrs at the Shaheed Smarak located at the local Shaheed Chowk.
On this occasion State Convener of Bharat Jodo Yatra Subodhkant Sahai, Congress Legislature Party leader Aalamgir Aalam, Working President Bandhu Tirkey, Shahzada Anwar, Minister Banna Gupta, MLA Rajesh Kachhap, Shilpi Neha Tirkey, Former State President Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu were present mainly.
On this occasion, a group of Tana Bhagats marched on foot from Shaheed Chowk to Firayalal Chowk, along with traditional tableaux . They garlanded the statue of Albert Ekka there and reached Lalpur Chowk via Old HB Road, where people of different communities and voluntary organizations welcomed everyone in a grand manner. After that the yatra moved forward, in which there was a lot of public support.
After this, the Yatra reached the Birsa Munda Samadhi Sthal at Kokar where the yatra ended in a gathering by offering floral tributes at the Samadhi of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. State President Rajesh Thakur said that Bharat Jodo Yatra to eradicate hatred has completed 101 days under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. Many thanks to the people coming in large numbers in this program.
Efforts were made to spread the message of Rahul Gandhi in 22 districts of Jharkhand and efforts were made to make Bharat Jodo Yatra successful in all the districts he said adding that the Congress party has brought freedom to the country from the slavery of the British and framed the constitution. It is our responsibility to maintain harmony in society and protect the Constitution.
At present, the atmosphere of hatred is prevalent in the country and the general public is suffering due to the rising inflation and unemployment, we have to rectify this through Bharat Jodo Yatra Thakur said adding the people of the the country will uproot the BJP government at the Center in the 2024 general elections.
