Deoghar: Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha arrived at Deoghar. After this, the Lieutenant Governor worshiped Baba Baidyanath with his family and took Baba’s blessings. Prior to this, the Tirtha priests made them pledge by chanting of ‘Har- Har Mahadev’ Slogans.
After this, His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor performed water anointing of the twelve Jyotirlingas with his family. Apart from this, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri, who was present on the occasion after offering prayers, presented a memento and Prasad of Baba Baidyanath to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
On this occasion, in-charge Superintendent of Police Nathu Ram Meena, Sub- Divisional Officer cum Baba Mandir in-charge Dipankar Chaudhary, Trainee IAS Animesh Ranjan and concerned officers, magistrates and police officers and others were present on this occasion.
