Kubbra Sait Calls ADHD Her ‘Superpower’, Shares Personal Journey

Mumbai — Actor Kubbra Sait has opened up about living with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), describing it not as a limitation but as something that empowers her.

In a candid video shared on Instagram, she spoke about how years of therapy helped her better understand her mind and embrace the way it works. According to her, accepting ADHD has allowed her to channel creativity, sharpen focus, and appreciate her individuality.

“I’ve realised my ADHD isn’t a problem—it’s actually a superpower,” she said, adding that her mind can hold multiple, often contradictory thoughts at once. “It explains a lot about how I experience things.”

She described feeling emotions intensely—whether love, anger, excitement, or heartbreak—and suggested that what some may see as “too much” could simply be a different way of processing the world. “Maybe it’s just a different operating system,” she reflected.

Sait also spoke about discovering a sense of structure within what once felt like chaos. Comparing her thoughts to a “messy Excel sheet,” she said therapy helped her find clarity and patterns within that complexity.

She highlighted the importance of community in her growth, noting that while she was raised to be highly independent, her mind thrives on interaction and shared experiences. “I learn through people. My brain grows in conversations,” she said, adding that individuals with ADHD often notice inconsistencies quickly and connect deeply with truth.

Encouraging others with ADHD to rethink their perspective, she said, “Maybe it’s not something to fix—maybe it’s something to unlock.”

In her caption, Sait shared that therapy has made her more confident and content with herself than ever before. She also invited others with similar experiences to open up, suggesting that conversations around ADHD can help people better understand themselves and each other.
