Jamtara: On the directions of the Malaria Office, Filaria kits were distributed by Sahiya to many Filaria beneficiaries of the area. Under the filariasis survey, many filariasis beneficiaries of health sub-centres of Jamtara block, Nawadih, Fofnad, Sakalpur, Sahajpur and Sitakata areas.
In the Filaria Kit, many materials like tub, mug, soap, antiseptic cream, towel and gloves were distributed to the patients related to filariasis for self-care of filariasis related organs and the filariasis patients were taught how to clean the affected organs.
MPW Manoj Tiwari informed about self-care and also informed them about the use of filariasis related medicine, which they can easily get from the health center absolutely free of cost.
