Mumbai- Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan, who celebrated his birthday on November 22, marked the special occasion with a visit to Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings from Lord Ganesh.
Dressed in an all-white outfit and wearing a yellow temple sash inscribed with Ganpati shlokas, Kartik greeted fans who gathered around his car as he exited the temple premises. Many fans were thrilled to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor, and Kartik graciously clicked selfies with them. He also thanked the paparazzi who had been waiting in the heat to capture his birthday visit.
Earlier this year, in January, the actor had also visited the Siddhivinayak Temple to offer prayers on the occasion of New Year 2025.
On the work front, Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Christmas film, Tu Meri Main Tera, Tu Mera Main Teri, co-starring Ananya Panday. The actor has been actively promoting the movie alongside his co-star.
The year 2024 proved successful for Kartik, with Chandu Champion and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 receiving strong appreciation from both critics and audiences. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, featuring Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan and Tripti Dimri, emerged as a major box-office success, while Chandu Champion saw a moderate response. However, Kartik earned his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in Chandu Champion.
The actor had shared an emotional video of himself receiving the award, along with a heartfelt note. In the video, Kartik spoke about the surreal feeling of winning his first Filmfare and expressed deep gratitude toward director Kabir Khan, calling Chandu Champion “the best journey” of his career. He praised Kabir Khan for creating not just frames but entire worlds on screen.
Kartik also thanked producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Vardha Nadiadwala for their unwavering support, noting the significance of bringing Murlikant Petkar’s inspiring story to audiences after nearly five decades. He acknowledged his parents for witnessing one of the proudest moments of his life and expressed his long-held dream of winning a Best Actor trophy.
Expressing love for his fans, Kartik said, “My godfathers are my fans,” and dedicated his success to them. He ended his message with an inspiring note for dreamers: “You all have a champion in you. The champion does fall, but never stops.”
