Ranchi: Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren and other accused, who were jailed on charges of money laundering through land scam, appeared in the Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) special court through video conferencing.
After the appearance, the court has extended the judicial custody of all the accused by 14 days.
Now the next appearance of all the accused will be on July 11.
On Thursday, apart from Hemant Soren, suspended revenue employee of Badgai zone Bhanu Pratap Prasad, JMM leader Antu Tirkey, Mohd. Saddam, Mohd. Officer Ali, Vipin Singh, Priyaranjan Sahay, Irshad Akhtar, Shekhar Kushwaha, Mohd Irshad, Kolkata Registrar of Assurances employees Tapas Ghosh and Sanjeet Kumar appeared before the court through video conferencing.
