JSSC releases revised dates for assistant teacher exam, 26 thousand teachers to be appointed

Ranchi: After the Jharkhand High Court lifted the ban on the Assistant Teacher (Acharya) appointment process, new dates for filling out the form have been issued to the candidates. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released this information.

According to JSSC, candidates can register themselves from October 7 to October 22. The examination fee can be paid till 24th October. Time has been given till October 26 to upload the photo and signature. Candidates can modify their application form from 28th October to 30th October. At the same time, JSSC has also made it clear that whatever final order the Jharkhand High Court passes in writ number 4049/2023, all the appointments will be affected.

On Thursday, the Jharkhand High Court lifted the stay on the ongoing process for the appointment of 26000 assistant teachers (Acharyas) in the state. The High Court has given this order while hearing the petition challenging the 50% reservation given to para teachers in the Assistant Teacher Appointment Rules. After which the way has now been cleared to start the appointment process.
