Ranchi: Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) issued notification for appointment in the posts of 2017 officers.
Those who completed their graduation will be eligible to apply for these posts. Appointments will be done after taking the Combined Competition Exam by JSSC.
Earlier the notification was issued in 2015 later that 2019 another notification issued, now this is the third time another notification has been issued.
Online Application will start from June 20 and last date of submission of online application form will be 21 July.
Vacant Posts are as follows – Assistant Branch Officer -238 posts, Junior Secretariat Assistant – 335 Posts, Labour Enforcement Officer – 183 posts, Planning Assistant – 5 posts, Block Welfare Officer – 195 Posts, Block Supply Officer – 252 Posts, Circle Inspector Kanungo – 185 Posts
The examination will be taken by JSSC and the format of the examination will be objective based on multiple choice questions and written mains examination.
As per the merit list, candidates will be selected for state government service. The examination will be conducted through three papers.
In the first paper, 120 Marks questions will be asked and the time limit will be 2 Hours in which Hindi and English language 60-60 questions will be asked and at least 30 % Marks have to be obtained.
The second Paper will be of a regional language and 100 questions will be asked and time limit will be 2 Hours in which 30 % marks have to be obtained.
And the third and last paper will be of General Knowledge in which 150 questions will be asked 30 from General Knowledge, 20 from General Science, 20 from Mathematics, 20 from Reasoning, 20 from Computer Science and 40 questions will be from Jharkhand State and 30 % Marks will be necessary for qualification of the examination.
Paper One is compulsory and at least 30 % of Marks have to be obtained in the first paper. If anyone is not scoring 30% marks in paper one then papers two and three will not be evaluated.
