JMM discusses LS and assembly by poll in Working Committee meeting

Ranchi: JMM Central Working Committee meeting on Tuesday discussed the upcoming assembly by-poll and how to strengthen the party in the state in light of the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The meeting was attended by party chief Shibu Soren, Executive president and Chief Minister Hemant Soren and senior party held parleys on different issues at Sohrai Bhavan in Ranchi on Tuesday.

Addressing the meeting, the party’s central president Shibu Soren said that we often hold meetings of the central committee, district committee, and block committee. Everyone’s participation is necessary in order to strengthen the organization. When the organization is strong, then only we will be strong, the government will be strong.

Addressing the meeting, party working president and Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the party has entrusted me with the responsibility. I am trying my best to fulfill it. Gave full strength. But many adverse situations kept arising. Will continue to happen in the future also.

In such a situation, we can deal with it only by strengthening the organization. The organization is the real strength of the government. In the meeting, it was discussed that JMM is in the role of the elder brother in Jharkhand, and it should get shared in the alliance accordingly. 

Senior party leader Vinod Kumar Pandey said later briefed the about the meeting to reporters. He said in view of the Lok Sabha elections, Dumri byelection, how to strengthen the organization was discussed. In the meeting, party central president Shibu Soren instructed all the district presidents to make the organization strong at every booth, every panchayat and every district.

The membership campaign being run by the party, in which the target is to make 50 lakh members, should be completed within the stipulated time limit. In view of the Dumri by-election, party president Shibu Soren has instructed the Bokaro district to form a committee at the booth level within a month. Party leaders and workers have been instructed to immediately travel to the area and start preparing for the Dumri byelection. 

In the meeting, leaders and workers have been instructed to take the schemes of the government to the masses. He said that the government has done many works, which have directly benefited the common man and the poor. The government also aims that the benefits of the schemes should reach the last person.
