Ranchi: The entire state is in the grip of heat waves. The southern parts of the state are more affected by hot winds. The maximum temperature figure has crossed 40 degrees in the state.
According to the report released by the Meteorological Department, Seraikela has been the hottest in the last 24 hours. The temperature here has been recorded at 42.2 degrees Celsius. While the lowest temperature recorded in Bokaro Thermal was 21.5 degrees.
The forecast report of Weather Centre Ranchi shows that cyclonic circulation is forming in the Bay of Bengal. Because of this, there are chances of rain in many parts of the state from April 7 to April 9. According to the Meteorological Centre, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and gusts of strong winds at some places in the state. It may also rain there. During this period the wind speed can be up to 50 km/h.
According to senior meteorologist Abhishek Anand, there will be strong winds along with thunder at some places in the state on April 8. The wind speed on April 8 will be 10 km less as compared to April 7. The wind speed on this day can be up to 40 km. The fear of lightning has also been expressed.
Similarly, on April 9, there is talk of rain with thunder, strong wind and thunderstorm in the southern part of the state. The change in weather patterns will affect East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega.
According to the report of the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain at isolated places in the southern and central parts of the state on April 10. This scope will include Ranchi, Bokaro, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Khunti and Ramgarh districts along with East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega districts.
The weather pattern is going to be similar on 11th and 12th April also. During this period, differences will also be seen in maximum and minimum temperatures. The maximum temperature can be 35 degrees and the minimum temperature can be 21 degrees.
