Jharkhand team reaches Balasore for rapid relief and recovery operation

Ranchi: A Medical Team including Officials from Jharkhand Government sent at the instructions of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren reached the hospital near Bahnaga Railway Station in the Balasore district of Odisha on Sunday for rapid relief and recovery operation.

As per the latest information, at least 275 people were killed and more than 1000 injured in a triple train collision at Balasore district about 200 km from Bhubaneswar in Odisha on late Friday, June 2. Jharkhand Government officials including Jharkhand Labour Secretary Sanjeev Kumar Besra and Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Rahul Sinha visited the mortuary near NOCC Business Park.

Four injured in the train tragedy were discharged from Hospital and they have been sent to their native place. “Two others who are also from Godda district of Jharkhand died in the horrific accident and their dead bodies were sent to their hometown,” An Official said on Sunday.

All injured are being continuously in touch and being communicated by the officials of the Jharkhand Government.
