Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya said, that Jharkhand State BJP President and Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi lost his mental control. Supriyo Bhattacharya said, while addressing a press conference at the party office in Ranchi on Monday.
He said, on Diwali day a sensitive incident happened at Uttarakhand where 41 labourers working in underground tunnel construction were trapped in the Himalayan region of Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand state. In which 15 Labourers are from Jharkhand.
He added that State BJP President Babulal Marandi put allegations that the JMM-led Hemant Government was not sensitive about the incident. He added that Babulal Marandi forgot that under the chairmanship of IAS Officer Bhubnesh Partap Singh, a 3 member committee went to Uttarakhand to visit the tunnel collapse. Bhattacharya said Babulal Marandi wanted to make sensational news and to publish his photographs in the newspapers.
He said, Babulal Marandi and his party BJP forget that, During Covid -19 lockdown, under the leadership of CM Hemant Soren thousands of labourers who were working in the construction sites at different parts of the country were brought safely after rescue operation through air ways.
Babulal Marandi does not understand the problems of labourers because BJP is the party of Capitalists. They wanted to make rumors and spread panic. Bhattacharya added, only politics is in the mind of Babulal Marandi. He said, what is necessary for a BJP leader to visit the residence of labourers, only to spread panic?
Babulal Marandi is making negative statements and to make negative publicity for the Hemant Government. He said, Babulal Marandi visited Telangana, why he don’t visit Uttarakhand. Supriyo Bhattacharya said, the Hemant Government will provide the best medical facility to trapped labourers after a rescue operation. Hemant Government is ready to air lift the labourers to Best Cities for medical treatment.
