Jharkhand is ahead not only in mineral wealth but also in intellectual capabilities: Hemant Soren

Ranchi: Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren said that the state government has started a new scheme for the coming generation. Addressing the Prize Distribution Ceremony” organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy at the Project Building Auditorium he said that the meritorious children of the state are being rewarded.

The thinking of the government is that the children of Jharkhand they may be studying in government schools here, CBSE or ICSE board their government has started this scheme with the aim of strengthening the enthusiasm of the children who study seriously about education and increasing their awareness towards education so that children become more promising.

Hemant Soren said that the purpose of the prize distribution scheme is to encourage the children to do well in the field of education in the state. The Education Department has given a complete shape to this work the Chief Minister said adding that at present, money is needed for enrollment in good schools and educational institutions and laptops and mobiles are essential for studies through this they can fulfill the technical needs.

He said the state government is providing all these necessary things to the meritorious students in the form of prizes. The Chief Minister said that his government is also trying to cooperate with the parents of these children so that they do not have to worry much about the future after 10th and 12th and moreover the promising children can get help. Chief Minister said that in this era of competition, awareness about education was seen among the children here and its better results have been seen. 

He said that promising children have been felicitated. Looking at the potential of these children, it seems that in the coming days more children may come forward and the government will give honour to all those children so that they can do better. Hemant Soren said that Jharkhand has the ability to stay ahead not only on mineral wealth but also in intellectual capacity. This is the reason why the children who were sent abroad for free higher education by the government are now standing on their own feet. The Chief Minister said that many children who went abroad to study have got jobs abroad.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren presented cash amount of Rs 1 crore 32 lakh, laptop and mobile among 130 students. He also inaugurated a coffee table book containing the information and achievements of the art festival organized under the Khelo Jharkhand and Samagra Shiksha Abhiyaan organized for intellectual and physical development among the players. The message sent by the State Education Minister Jagarnath Mahto was also read out at the prize distribution ceremony.

In the prize distribution ceremony Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Vandana Dadel, Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) President Anil Kumar Mahto, Chief Minister’s Secretary Vinay Kumar Choubey, Departmental Secretary K Ravi Kumar, State Project Director Kiran Kumari Pasi along with other concerned officials and awardees and their families were present from all over the state.
