Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court has given its verdict on the PIL filed to investigate the matter of granting mining lease to CM Hemant Soren and his family members and the settlement of government land at different places.
After hearing all the parties, the court rejected the PIL filed against the CM.
During the hearing on this PIL, Advocate General Rajeev Ranjan and Piyush Chitresh presented their side on behalf of Hemant Soren.
In this regard, High Court advocate and Right to Information activist Sunil Mahato had filed a PIL in the High Court.
The division bench headed by High Court Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra heard this PIL.
