Jharkhand HC imposed a fine of RS 1000 on Rahul Gandhi

Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court has imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi. The court has imposed this penalty due to delay in filing the reply. However, the court has maintained the relief given to Rahul Gandhi.

In the last hearing, the High Court stayed the non-bailable warrant issued against him by the Chaibasa Civil Court till the next hearing.

In fact, on February 27, Chaibasa Civil Court, while hearing the contempt case, had issued a non-bailable warrant against Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had filed a petition in the High Court through his advocate. High Court advocate Dipankar Rai argued on behalf of Rahul Gandhi.
