Ranchi, May 15: The Jharkhand Government decided to constitute additional posts for cardio thoracic surgery and other departments in the super specialty wing of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science here.
A decision in this regard was taken in the cabinet meeting which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das here. The cabinet also decided to constitute an additional 31 posts for the state run para medical institute to be set up inside RIMS. Further the state government has also decided to hand over 4.05 acres of land to GAIL in Nagadi block of Ranchi district at a cost of Rs 15.86 crore.
The cabinet also decided to increase the DA allowance of government employees (sixth pay scale) with effect from 1.1.2018 while the for state government pensioners and beneficiaries of family pension scheme (sixth pay scheme) will be provided increased DA.
In another key decision the state cabinet has decided that under state sponsored scheme for 2018-19 amendments have been made in the process of approving projects related to renovation and deepening of government ponds or private ponds which are being used for public use.
It was decided that now the district land conservation officer will be writing a letter to the MLA of the area concerned to seek his recommendation for irrigation projects till May 22 and if by that time they fail to give the recommendations that the DC after May 25 as per the schemes selected by the Gram Sabha will commence the work on projects. This arrangement has been made to ensure that work goes on smoothly and collect maximum water for conservation.
