Jharkhand Governor appreciated Educational Facilities available at Government-run Schools in Saraikela Kharsawan district

Ranchi: Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan appreciated the availability of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Computer Laboratory, Library along with Smart Classes at Government-Run Schools in Saraikela Kharsawan district of Jharkhand on Monday. Governor Radhakrishnan said When he was a Member of Parliament (MP) he worked on various fields including Water, Electricity, Road, and Education.He added 6 extra express trains were started from Coimbatore. 

The Governor Said he wanted to see positive change in the society. He added India is the fifth-largest economy in the world. He also visited Scheduled Tribe Residential School in Saraikela Kharsawan district of Jharkhand.

He reviewed the status of the mid-day meal scheme in the school. He was interested to know the sports activity of the school.

In his other visit to Etakudar Village of Saraikela Kharsawan district to address villagers. He said the Women Self Help Group has now changed society and it is a revolutionary moment for us. Mukhiya of the Village informed Governor Radhakrishnan about the main occupation of the village is agriculture and its allied activities.

He said under various schemes of MGNREGA and Pradhan Manti Aawas Yojna villagers are benefitted. He added Pension Yojna, 100 Unit Free Electricity, Jal – Nal Yojna are effective in the Panchayat. During the interaction with villagers, Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan had a conversation with a woman of Kashidih Tola who expressed her problem that in the entire Village, only one well is available and we are not able to get drinking water from that.

Governor gave instructions to the Deputy Commissioner of Saraikela Kharsawan district to look up and solve the matter.
