Ranchi: To join the Jai Bharat Satyagraha Yatra program, the All India Congress Committee’s General Secretary cum Jharkhand in-charge Avinash Pandey is arriving in Jharkhand on Tuesday. Giving information to this effect, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad said on April 4 he would reach around 03:45 pm at Birsa Munda Airport Ranchi by Indigo.
The State Congress in charge will stay in Jharkhand only from April 04 to April 16, 2023, and will be involved in the district-wise programs of Jai Bharat Satyagraha Yatra which will cover 1950 kms will last for 11 days. He said that on Tuesday Save Democracy torchlight peace march will be organized in all the district headquarters.
The state Congress in charge himself will participate in the Save Democracy torchlight peace march organized in the state capital Ranchi, which will start at 5.30 pm from the Shaheed Sthal located in the local district school premises and will reach the Raj Bhawan via Kutchary Chowk.
State Congress President Rajesh Thakur, Legislature Party leader Aalamgir Aalam, all Congress Ministers, Legislators, Working Presidents, State office bearers including officers of the Leading Front Organization Department, District Congress Committee office bearers and leaders will be present in this programme.
On instructions of the All India Congress Committee, on the call of Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur, under the Jai Bharat Satyagraha program nukkad sabhas will be organized in the block areas of all the districts of the state. The work of exposing the undemocratic and dictatorial character of the Modi government among the general public is being done under the aegis of all the district units in the state of Jharkhand, which started from March 29 and will continue till April 08, 2023.
Under the Jai Bharat Satyagraha program in all the districts, Nukkad Sabha, a press conference will be organized in the presence of the general secretary in charge of the concerned district. State Congress spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that in the presence of State Congress in-charge Avinash Pandey, under the leadership of State Congress Committee President Rajesh Thakur, the Jai Bharat Satyagraha Yatra will start from 10 am in Lohardaga district from 05 April 2023 and will continue till 16 April 2023.
The Yatra will travel through Latehar, Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Giridih, Deoghar, Godda, Sahebganj, Pakur, Dumka, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, Saraikela, Kharsawa, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa, Khunti, Simdega, Ramgarh and will reach Ranchi where this journey of 1950 km will end on 16 April. State Congress in charge and workers will be involved in the meetings in all the districts as per the predetermined program during the yatra.
In the district-level programs to be organized under the Jai Bharat Satyagraha program and Jai Bharat Satyagraha Yatra program, concerned district office bearers, honorable MPs, MLAs, AICC and state representatives, district, senior Congressmen, block, Mandal and panchayat level officials and party workers will be present.
