Jharkhand CM to attend Governing Council Meet of Niti Aayog on Aug 7

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will attend the 7th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog to be held in New Delhi on August 7. The Chief Ministers of different states of the country will attend this meeting to be held at the Cultural Center of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting will start at 9.45 am and will continue till 4.30 pm. According to the information, the National Education Policy will be specially discussed in this meeting. In this, there will also be a talk on the action plan from school education to higher education.

Apart from this, discussions on Municipal Finance, Urban Planning and Administrative Structure and Citizen Centric Governance, Agriculture will also be held in the meeting. The state government has started preparing for the meeting of NITI Aayog.

On behalf of Jharkhand, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will present the problems of Jharkhand in the meeting of the Governing Council. The Governing Council meets once in a year. The meeting was held on 20 February last year.
