Ranchi: Criminals made away with jewellery worth Rs 7 lakh at gunpoint from a jewellery shop in Gamharia Bazar of Adityapur.
Not only this, the criminals also took away the CCTV cameras and its DVR along with them.
The criminals also broke the mobile of the staff of the shop so that the police could not be informed.
The incident took place around 11 o’clock in the day.
After getting the information of the incident, the police of Adityapur and Gamharia police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
Today around 11 am, three criminals entered the Ishwar Lal jewellery shop at Lal Building Chowk in Gamharia Bazar.
It is being said that everyone was like a customer before entering the shop.
After entering the shop everyone talked about buying jewellery.
When the staff of the shop took out the night, the criminals put the gun on the temple of the staff.
After this, other jewellery including the extracted jewellery was put in the bag and started walking.
It is being said that the criminals dropped the shutter of the shop after leaving the shop.
Due to this, the people around did not even get a clue.
The criminals were so cunning that they could not be identified, because of this they have also taken CCTV cameras and DVRs with them.
After getting the information of the incident, the police are engaged in the investigation.
It is being said that all the miscreants came wearing helmets.
Police are trying to investigate the incident of robbery with CCTV footage installed in nearby shops.
According to the shopkeeper, the scoundrels have looted jewelry worth about seven lakhs.
