JESA celebrated 56th Engineer’s Day with pomp and show

Ranchi: Jharkhand Engineers Service Association (JESA) celebrated the 56th Engineer’s Day with great pomp on the occasion of the 162nd birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya on Friday. By paying homage to Visvesvaraya, contemporary technical discussions were held for the promotion of engineering.

Engineers from all the technical departments of the state along with famous scientists, technical experts and experienced engineers participated in the discussion.

Technical discussion was held on the topic of Eco- Friendly Sustainable and Integrated Infrastructure Development. Development Commissioner Arun Kumar Singh was present as the chief guest at the function and Principal Secretary Rural Works Department Ajay Kumar Singh and Secretary Drinking Water and Sanitation Department Dr Manish Ranjan were present as special guests. 

Jharkhand’s famous environmental warrior Chami Murmu was honored at the ceremony. Also, retired members were honored by the chief guests in view of their contribution to the development of the state.
