Jagarnath Mahto receives threat letter again, says not scared by such acts

Ranchi: A threatening letter was received at the official residence of Jharkhand’s education minister Jagarnath Mahto in the capital. The letter sent through the postal department threatens him of taking life in case of his denial to increase grants of inter and degree colleges. 

The letter directs him not to make Khatiyan base for identifying locals. Earlier, a similar letter was sent to Mahto’s Bokaro residence on Wednesday. The writer has identified himself as a forward-class resident having his roots outside Jharkhand. 

Security has been beefed up at his residences after the receipt of threatening letters. However, while talking to Reporter Post the Minister said that he is not scared of such letters. He said that since he was sitting on a constitutional post therefore there are certain limitations but if had been not on the chair by this time he would have found the person.

The Minister said that Bokaro SP has been intimated about the incident and he was hopeful that police will soon find the culprit. He has asked his supporters not be scared of such acts.
