Ranchi: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, another significant step has been taken towards empowering the state digitally and technologically. The IT Tower, located in Namkum, Ranchi, is set to elevate Jharkhand to new heights in the digital era. This state-of-the-art IT tower not only showcases the technological advancement of Jharkhand but will also create new employment opportunities for the state’s youth. The Chief Minister praised the project, stating that the IT Tower will open new avenues for skill development and employment for the youth of Jharkhand. It will help the state emerge as a leader in the technological and industrial sectors.
Developed under the supervision of the Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA), this IT tower will function as a major hub for technological and digital businesses. It features a G + 5 floor structure, covering an area of approximately 40,000 square feet.
The JIADA’s Ranchi Regional Office has invited applications from renowned organizations and eligible IT/ITES sector institutions for long-term lease (for 30 years) of this state-of-the-art IT tower located in the Namkum industrial area. The last date for submission of applications is 15.02.2025. Through this initiative, the Jharkhand government is committed to making the state digitally empowered and technologically self-reliant. The IT Tower is set to become a milestone in the industrial and economic development of both Ranchi and the entire state.
