Ranchi: The state government on Tuesday assured that necessary action will be taken against the culprits in connection with the mob lynching of youth in the capital.
On the eight day of the ongoing budget session of the Jharkhand Assembly as soon as the proceedings started the MLAs of the BJP came into the well of the house and raised the issue of mob lynching and demanded action against the culprits.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Aalamgir Aalam said that an incident of death of youth due to beating under Kotwali Police Station area has taken place. He said that after being brought to the police station the injured should have been taken to the hospital. The minister said that after a probe action will be taken against the guilty.
Earlier BJP MLA Biranchi Narayan while talking to press outside the assembly said that when a youth named Tabrez was beaten to death at that time many people from different parties and organisations had come on the roads and when in the capital a youth from another community is beaten to death then the same people are sitting silent.
BJP MLA Randhir Singh said that law and order situation has collapsed in the state and demanded for a judicial probe in the incident.
Health Minister Banna Gupta said that the government will not save anyone and like earlier after the probe action will be taken against the culprits.
Congress MLA from Jamtara Irfan Ansari said that those who are responsible for the incident they should be punished at any cost. Independent MLA Saryu Rai said that the incident was condemning, however he pointed that instead of raising questions over the intentions of the government strict steps should be taken to prevent the repeat of such actions in future.
