Ranchi: The controversies surrounding the the 7th JPSC exam is failing to die down as once again the issue has been brought before the High Court. Petitioners Kailash Prasad and others have filed a new petition against the revised PT results. Through the petition, it has been pointed out that it is not important to come out with 15 times more results in the general category for the Prelims Exam as this would be a violation of Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Rules 2021. It has been also pointed out that in the previous PT results cut off had been declared for the Divyang category also but in the revised list the cut off has not been issued. Due to the revised list 406 candidates who were earlier declared successful have been left out. The JPSC had earlier sought approval from the court to come out with revised results.
On Saturday the matter was heard in the court of Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice SN Prasad. Lawyer Chanchal Jain has filed the petition on behalf of the candidates. Meanwhile, the JPSC on its part has issued notification for 7th to 10th JPSC Mains examination. The exams will be conducted from March 11 to 13 in two shifts across different centres of the state. The first shift will be from 10 AM to 1 PM and in the second shift, it will be from 2 PM to 5 PM. The commission said that it will not be sending the admit cards via posts but candidates will have to download the same from the official website of the commission.
