Ranchi: Interactive on Proactive Measures to Improve Electrical Safety in Coal Mines of CCL under the auspices of DGMS, South Eastern Zone, and Ranchi on Thursday at CCL HQ under the chairmanship of Ram Babu Prasad, Director (Tech. /Comm) the session was organized.
On this occasion, DMS (Electrical) Vikas Govindrao Meshram, DMS (Electrical) Maheshwara Reddy, DDMS (Electrical) Vineet Chaurasia, General Manager (V&E), General Manager (Ext.), All Regional General Managers, Project Officers, SO (V. & Yan.), SO (Ex.) and officers of all areas were present.
In this interactive session, important suggestions regarding proactive measures to improve mine electrical safety were given.
The meeting was discussed in detail especially regarding electrical safety in the company.
Welcoming all the positive suggestions received during this session, CCL Director (Tech. /Com.) Ram Babu Prasad said that those suggestions will be implemented by the company and whatever deficiencies will be resolved in a definite manner.
Discussing the topic, Prasad further said that mine safety is our first priority.
In order to make the work place accident free, the company is adopting new technologies to achieve the goal of ‘Zero Accident’.
The company is striving to create a better environment towards electrical safety.
He further said that we are stressing on following the Safety Management Plan properly.
