Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi launched Young Changemakers Programme

Ranchi: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi on Saturday launched ‘Young Changemakers Programme’ for its Students for Social Impact Internship Project (SIIP) under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Mission.

The Institute launched a Campaign under its Strategic Plan with the target to inspire young generations who will have their contribution in rural development and can lead the economy in a comprehensive way.

According to this programme, Rural Immersion Bootcamp which is an innovative three-day programme pioneering a live case learning model, and providing a platform to students explore tribal villages, understand their challenges and develop practical solutions.

According to the professor of IIM Ranchi, This summer internship will help students be more creative in nature, and problem-solving abilities for innovative and effective solutions to rural problems.

Wide range of activities will be done including Cultural exchange, group discussions and identifying real issues and challenges of rural and remote villages of Jharkhand State.

Social Activist who works at Angada area near Jonha Waterfall in Silli Constituency to provide Sanitary Napkins to underprivileged Women, Mangesh Jha will also accompany those students who will take part in a summer internship.
