Indian Army Recruitment Rally ‘Agniveer’ started at Morhabadi Grounds

Ranchi: Indian Army Recruitment Rally ‘Agniveer’ started at Morhabadi Grounds in Ranchi on Saturday. According to the Army Recruitment Office, Ranchi, On the first day candidates from five districts appeared for recruitment.

The districts where the candidates participate in the rally are Dumka, Chaibasa, Garhwa, Jamtara and Lohardaga. Candidates of the capital Ranchi district will be given a chance on July 7. In this recruitment rally which will run till July 9, 13 thousand candidates from 24 districts will participate. There are various facilities for the candidates as well.

According to Brigadier Mukesh Gurung, Duty Director General Recruitment of Bihar-Jharkhand Recruitment Zone, only the candidates who have passed the written examination will participate in this rally. They must be 21 years of age or less. The medical test of the candidates who pass the physical examination is going to be held at Morhabadi grounds. He said, “Agniveer, recruitment will be done for the posts of Agniveer GD, Agniveer Clerk/Storekeeper, Agniveer Technical and Agniveer Tradesman.”

All the candidates have been instructed to get their documents verified and reach the rally. The candidates are specially told to beware of touts. 

July 1 – Dumka, Chaibasa, Garhwa, Jamtara, Lohardaga

July 2– Bokaro, Godda, West Singhbhum, Koderma

July 3– Giridih, Khunti, Seraikela Kharsawan, Simdega\

July 4 – Gumla, Palamu

July 5- Chatra, Deoghar, Dhanbad

July 6- Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Sahebganj, Pakur, Latehar

July 7- Ranchi 

According to Army Recruitment Office, Ranchi, in this recruitment process of Agniveer, the candidate who has passed the written examination must pass the physical examination. To pass the physical test, the candidates will have to complete a 1.6 km run in the stipulated time. After this, the standards of physical criteria will also have to be fulfilled. The certificates of the successful candidates will be scrutinised. After that there will be medical.

After that the final result will be released after evaluation. Army officials said full care has been taken to ensure that the candidates do not face any kind of problem. Arrangement of uninterrupted power supply has been ensured by the Ranchi district administration. At the same time, the facility of medical team, first aid and ambulance is also ensured at all times. Apart from this, arrangements for drinking water and toilets have also been made for the candidates.
