Illegal liquor found in Maurya Express, preparation to take it to Bihar

Deoghar: The administration is active regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and Holi festival. Based on the information received, a search operation is also being conducted. Railway administration has also increased security in the railway section.

In the same sequence, illegal liquor worth thousands of rupees was seized from train number 15027up Maurya Express train on Sunday night. The seizure took place when the train reached the station and was inspected by the railway administration. The liquor was being taken to Bihar.

According to Sources, when the train reached Madhupur, the team launched a search operation. Where an abandoned bag and backpack were found in the bathroom of AC A/1 bogie of the train. He was brought to the railway station and opened. In which 18 pieces of 500 ml can beer and about 31 pieces of 300 ml small and 4 big 600 ml country liquor bottles were found. Whose total value was said to be Rs 5980. No one has been arrested in this case.

The recovered liquor has been sent to the excise department of Deoghar for necessary action. Under the leadership of ASI Shaheb Ram of Madhupur GRP, local and foreign canned beer liquor worth thousands of rupees has been recovered. Railway Station Sub-Inspector Birbal Ram said that secret information was received that liquor barons were illegally taking liquor to Bihar by Maurya Express train.

During the search operation in the train, ASI Ravindra Nath Singh, Diwakar Chaudhary, Havildar Turtan Tiv, Constable Dulal Pandey, Tulsidas, Rahbar Islam Baig, Mukesh Das recovered illegal liquor.
