If the people are happy, then the state will be happy: Minister Aalamgir Aalam

Ranchi: Rural Development Minister Aalamgir Aalam said that government is for the good of the people and schemes are implemented to make the people prosperous and self-reliant so that happiness can be brought in the life of the people as when the people are happy, then only there will be prosperity in the state too. 

Speaking at launch program of CSP in the auditorium located on the second floor of Project Bhawan he said that the development was hampered during the Corona pandemic. Even after this, the efforts of the government were appreciated by the whole country because it provided many employment opportunities in rural areas through Mnrega and JSLPS he said that many schemes were taken under Mnrega and along with this the work of connecting a large number of people with self-employment was done through JSLPA.

The minister said that the farmers are upset due to lack of rain, for this the work of rejuvenating the closed river drains was started through water committees. However, the success was not achieved according to the target but still efforts are on. He said that revolutionary changes will come in Mnrega through CFP (Cluster Facilitation Project). 

Implementation of schemes at village, block, district and state level will set new dimensions of success, as the objective of CFP is to ensure timely payment of Mnrega works, selection of the right plan and maintaining the quality of the work done. With reference to PM Awas Yojana, he said that the central government has given us a target of constructing one lakh 75 thousand houses but in this scheme the government is going to give Rs 50 thousand extra on one house with the so that the beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana can make one extra room.

Secretary, Rural Development Department, Dr Manish Ranjan said that the department is going to link CFP with Mnrega as this will bring a big change in the schemes related to Mnrega. He said that the first version of this scheme was launched in 2014 in 74 blocks of 21 districts, which is now being implemented across the country.

The CFP project is being implemented in different blocks of 23 districts of the state. The plans from the CFP will now be more scientific and the plans will be prepared GIS based he said adding that also, plans can be made according to the need of the area while GIS will cooperate in planning the schemes. He said that with CFP the problems can be executed from the block level to the state 
level and 65 percent schemes can be linked to the programs related to livelihood.

Apart from this, analysis of programs related to livelihood will also be possible. He said that after CFP is linked with Mnrega, asset management will be easy and monitoring of schemes from construction to their utilization can be done. The departmental secretary informed that soon the department will launch an app, which will contain the complete details of the plans
of the last 20 years. If people want to be aware of the status of rural development works in their area, then complete information will be available on mobile through the app he said adding that it is a matter of happiness that this effort of Jharkhand has also been greatly appreciated by the Government of India. 

Mnrega Commissioner Rajeshwari B said that it is a matter of happiness for that Jharkhand is the first state in the whole country where CSP is being launched first. She said that the first version of CFP was launched in 2014, after the success of which the Government of India has planned to launch this scheme across the country.

He said that the department has tried to make the schemes related to Mnrega more scientific by linking it with GIS. GIS experts will cooperate at the district and state level in the implementation of Mnrega schemes so that the schemes can be implemented in a
transparent manner.
