IAF Outreach Drive to Boost Career Awareness Among Youth, Focus on Rural Reach

Deoghar: In a move to expand career awareness among young aspirants, a team from the Airmen Selection Centre, Bihta met Deputy Commissioner Naman Priyesh Lakra on Monday to discuss strengthening the Indian Air Force’s outreach programmes across the district.

During the meeting at the Collectorate, the DC appreciated the initiative and stressed the importance of reaching youth in rural and remote areas. He pointed out that while villages are rich in talent, many youngsters miss out on opportunities due to lack of proper guidance and information.

Taking note of the suggestions, the Air Force team proposed organizing special awareness camps in far-flung regions to connect directly with aspiring candidates. They also discussed leveraging online platforms to ensure broader outreach and greater participation.

The DC assured full cooperation from the district administration to support the initiative, with the aim of motivating more youth to explore careers in the Indian Air Force.

The meeting was attended by Airmen Selection Centre Commanding Officer Arvind Singh Rawat, along with other Air Force officials and district-level officers.
