Ranchi: State BJP president Deepak Prakash demanded the state government to take effective steps to make an Aatm Nirbhar Jharkhand.
Addressing an online press conference state BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash said the present Jharkhand government often talks about its rights but falls behind on the issue of fulfilling its responsibilities due to which the state was facing losses and schemes were not being realized on the ground.
He said that the state government should work to make a self-sufficient Jharkhand under the Aatm Nirbhar Bharat campaign of the central government. He said that the campaign launched by the Prime Minister has turned out to be a people’s campaign that is aimed at strengthening villages, poor, farmers and workers and making India empowered and self-sufficient in every aspect.
Mr Prakash also expressed his concern over the rising cases of Coronavirus in the state and suggested the state government to sit and talk with the opposition and social organisations and take necessary steps to battle Coronavirus.
