HEC employees in anger after lathi charge along with the demand for outstanding salaries

Ranchi: HEC employees have blocked HEC Headquarters Road on Thursday. The anger is being seen after the lathi charge on Wednesday. In fact, due to salary arrears of about 19 months, the patience of HEC employees broke on Wednesday. When HEC employees surrounded Director (Finance) Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi and Director (Production) SD Singh demanding payment of outstanding salaries, due to which the officers. He remained hostage in his office for about nine hours.

HEC employees are still protesting on the streets after lathicharge due to 19 months salary arrears. Employees have blocked the road today in protest against the lathi charge on Wednesday. Employees say that about 19 months of salary is outstanding due to which they are facing problems in living. 

Demanding salary, the employees also surrounded the offices of Director (Finance) Rajesh Kumar Dwivedi and Director (Production) SD Singh. Both the officers were held hostage in their office for about 9 hours. In the evening, when an attempt was made to take the officers out, they were being taken out under the protection of CISF. The employees started protesting fiercely against this.

On this, CISF soldiers lathi-charged in which many people were injured. There is anger among the employees after this lathicharge. Due to this, the employees have blocked HEC Headquarters Road since Thursday morning.

The employees said that we wanted to express our views peacefully but we were lathicharged. CISF has resorted to lathi charge beyond its jurisdiction. The employees are demanding suspension of the soldiers who resorted to lathi charge.
