Health Sciences University will open in Jharkhand, bill passed

Ranchi: The Jharkhand University of Health Sciences Bill 2023 has been passed in the assembly on Friday.

This bill has been brought with the aim of enriching the resources of health science in the state.

Through the university, professional education of health science will be developed in the state.

Many subjects including Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, and Para Medical will be taught.

Research related topics will be made convenient.

The Chief Minister will be the Chancellor of this University.

He will preside over the convocation ceremony and the meetings of the Governing Body.

Many posts will be created in the university, including Vice-Chancellor, Dean of Department, Registrar, Finance Officer and Controller of Examinations.

The first Vice-Chancellor will be appointed by the Chief Minister.

Only a person below the age of 70 years will be appointed as Vice-Chancellor.
