Ranchi: Health Minister Banna Gupta made a surprise visit at the Sadar Hospital during which he expressed his anguish over the arrangements in the hospital premises.
He got angry upon seeing waste and garbage in the premises and directed the Civil Surgeon to ensure its cleaning and also directed to seek a report from the vendor responsible for cleaning.
He also took strong note of the lack of security arrangements as no security guards were found and people were spotted roaming freely. He directed the DDC and Civil Surgeon to send a proposal regarding the construction of road in the area.
The Health Minister asked the civil surgeon to tide over the arrangements in the next 15 days and also inform the department regarding the needs of the hospital as no compromise would be made on the treatment of patients, cleanliness and security.
He also interacted with the health staff who were on agitation in support of their various demands and assured them of solving their complaints.
